Education is the cornerstone of any society and it serves as one of the foundations for many of its social values and characteristics. Different methodologies and intelligent technologies are employed for creating Technology Enhanced Learning (TEL) solutions. The International Conference in Methodologies and Intelligent Systems for Technology Enhanced Learning, MIS4TEL, will organise its 9th edition from 26th to 28th of June in Ávila, Spain. The conference aims at catering for different perspectives and having complementary voices (e.g. engineering, computer science, education, medicine).
The workshop on the DoCENT model is called "Technology-enhanced learning in digital creativity education: TEL4creativity" and will take place on 27th June from 18:00 to 20:00 in Room A-3.
The workshop will cover the issues related to the methodologies that can be employed to teach digital creativity in the context of Technology Enhanced Learning. In this context, TEL plays a double role. The first one as a methodological framework, to transfer the contents related to digital creativity. For example, the competences required from teachers to design a creative learning scenario mediated by digital technologies. The second role is related to the contents and tools that can be used to implement a creative learning scenario. Moreover, this issue stimulates intervention from different professional expertise, including pedagogical, psychological and technological.
