You can easily reach Naples by air, train, road or sea. The international airport Capodichino is not far from the city centre and the international train station offers train connections to other Italian cities.

The conference building is the Department of Humanities studies, based at the cloister of San Pietro Martire, via Porta di Massa,1 – 80133 Naples.

How to reach the venue

By plane

From the International Airport of Napoli Capodichino, the best way to reach the venue is by taxi: the journey will take about 20 minutes and costs about
20€. Ask for the fixed-rate at the start of the journey. You can also take the ANM Alibus bus connecting the airport to Beverello stop. The Alibus ticket costs 5€. You can find its departure time-table here. From there, the Department of Humanities is in 10 minutes walk. 

By train

All the main Italian cities are directly connected to Naples by fast trains. You can take FrecciaRossa/Argento/Bianca train Trenitalia or NTV. You have to choose as final destination Napoli Central Station/Piazza Garibaldi. From the train station Napoli Centrale/Piazza Garibaldi the best way to reach the conference is by metro. The Metro Linea 1, direction Piscinola circulates every 9 minutes. You should get off at the next stop Università and walk 600 meters, following Umberto I Course.
